Inferior LED lights, not eye protection but damage your eyes
In recent years, LED lighting products have gradually become the mainstream variety in the lighting product market. At present, there are many LED lighting product manufacturers, brands, specifications, and price differences in the market, which cause certain problems for consumers to purchase such products. So how to choose the good led outdoor and indoor lighting products?
1. Check the logo. Each country has its own compulsory certification for LED lights, like UL for USA, CUL for Canada, PSE for Japan and CCC for China. CCC certification is the basic safety guarantee for these products. According to relevant national laws and regulations, products must pass the certification before they can be sold in the market. Since October 2016, the state requires that LED lamps must be correctly marked with energy efficiency levels on the outer packaging of the product. Consumers should pay attention to identifying whether the product packaging has the corresponding CCC certification mark and energy efficiency label.
2. Look at the appearance. When selecting LED lighting fixtures, check whether the product packaging is complete, whether the logo is neat, and whether the instructions are standardized and detailed. When viewing specific products, pay attention to product materials and wiring, such as cover smoothness and light transmission uniformity, wire material, thickness, Layout neatness, etc.
3. Heavy parameters. To achieve a more comfortable lighting effect, LED bulbs and lamps used in the home should choose LED products with a color temperature below 5000K and a color rendering index above 80. LED table lamps are more stringent, and LED products with a color rendering index of 82 or above 4000K should be selected. Consumers should pay attention to the relevant parameters of product packaging and physical labeling when purchasing products, pay attention to lighting quality according to functional needs, and choose suitable products.
4. Pay attention to eye safety. In order to avoid strong glare, consumers are advised to buy lighting products with frosted covers as much as possible. In particular, LED desk lamps illuminate the lamps at close range. If the product design is unscientific, it will produce dazzling light, which will affect the comfort and safety of the eyes.
5. Avoid blue light hazards. The blue light component of the LED chip is relatively high, which will have a greater impact on the retina. National standards require that general lighting LED products must ensure that the blue light hazard is at a non-hazardous level or a low-hazard level. Especially when choosing LED lighting products for children, it is best to choose products with non-hazardous levels. This information can be found on the product packaging, and consumers should pay attention to it when buying.
6. Keep consumption credentials. It is the best for consumers to buy this type of goods in formal shopping malls, supermarkets and specialty stores. It is recommended to buy products with high brand awareness and good reputation, reject "three noes" goods, retain shopping vouchers, if quality problems occur, and maintain their own legality in a timely manner rights and interests.
