Shilong Town recently conducted a comprehensive inspection, maintenance and update of the lighting facilities in the town. Among them, the original light poles on the main roads of the town were replaced with smart light poles with "one pole for multiple purposes", which "has several roles" and "subtracted" for the road.

At present, Shilong Town has completed the replacement of more than 7,000 lamps with LED lamps on the main road, adding luster to the beautiful night scene and making it more convenient and safe for citizens to travel at night.

In addition to replacing lamps to improve the brightness of urban lighting, Shilong Town also plans to replace the original light poles on the main roads of the town with smart light poles with "one pole, multiple functions". The "appearance" of the smart light pole looks ordinary, but its "inner" is full of dry goods. In addition to meeting the basic lighting functions, smart light poles can also provide road lighting, mobile communications, city monitoring, traffic management, information release and information release through various smart devices such as 5G communication base stations, video surveillance, Internet of Things sensing devices, and charging facilities. Urban public services and other functions. Up to now, Shilong Town has installed 73 smart light poles on Yufa Street, Longcheng Road and other streets, and the installation project is still in progress.

Shilong Town, as a national informatization pilot town, actively promotes the intelligent construction of urban infrastructure. It is planned to build 1,550 sets of smart light poles within three years, and simultaneously replace the power supply cables and pre-buried pipelines of related smart light poles.

With smart light poles, the independent LED street light poles, probes, signal lights, signages and other poles that used to be scattered on the roadside and in the sky will be broken into pieces, which improves the overall environmental quality of the city and introduces the freshness of smart city construction to Shilong.
