On the evening of June 23, LONGi’s official website announced that another major breakthrough has been made in the research and development of LONGi’s silicon heterojunction photovoltaic cell (HJT). It reached 26.50%, setting a new world record for the efficiency of large-scale single-crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells.

LONGi has set a new world record for HJT battery, not only once again demonstrating its strength in high-efficiency battery technology, but also embodying the huge potential of photovoltaic power generation.

On June 3, 2021, LONGi announced that it simultaneously refreshed three world efficiency records, including HJT cells, among which the conversion efficiency of commercial-sized single-crystal HJT cells reached a record 25.26%. On October 22, LONGi further increased the conversion efficiency of HJT cells to 25.82%. It rose again to 26.3% on October 28. Bring HJT batteries into the 26%+ era.

This time, the conversion efficiency of HJT cells has increased to 26.50%, which is the fourth time to break the world record in the past year. Compared with June 3, 2021, it has increased by 1.24%. It can be said that the conversion efficiency of HJT cells is directly brought up. to a new level.

In addition, LONGi is also a benchmark in the industry in terms of PERC cell technology. The front-side conversion efficiency of its monocrystalline double-sided PERC cell has reached 24.06%, which is the first time that the efficiency of a commercial-sized PERC cell has exceeded 24%, breaking the industry’s previous opinion of 24% for PERC cells. efficiency bottleneck.
