Since China’s National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Roadmap to Phase Out Incandescent Lamps in China", the roadmap stipulates that from October 1, 2012, the import and sale of general lighting incandescent lamps of 100 watts and above are prohibited. From October 1, 2014, the import and sale of general lighting incandescent lamps of 60 watts and above are prohibited. It is expected that from October 1, 2016, the import and sale of general lighting incandescent lamps of 15 watts and above will be prohibited, which means that the phasing out of general lighting incandescent lamps in China has been settled. After years of development, LED down light has been widely used in the fields of engineering and home decoration, basically replacing traditional downlights. In the field of LED commercial lighting, LED downlight can be said to be the most popular category, because its technical content is not high, basically screwdriver factories can produce it. There is no barrier to entry, anyone can produce, a swarm, resulting in uneven quality, prices ranging from a few yuan to tens of yuan, so the current downlight LED market is still chaotic. At the same time, the current price of down light is very transparent. The downlight distributors basically know the cost of accessories from chips, housings to packaging. Lighting downlights are generally used in shopping malls, offices, factories, hospitals and other indoor lighting, they are easy to install. Recessed downlights inherit all the advantages of traditional downlights, with low heat generation, long power-saving life, and minimal maintenance costs. Early recessed LED downlights were not acceptable to customers due to the high overall cost of LED lamp beads. With the reduction of the price of recessed downlight chips and the improvement of heat dissipation technology, a solid foundation has been laid for the entry of smart downlights into the commercial field.
