Illumination, power, color temperature requirements, and installation specifications of LED lamps for classrooms

Using led lights to illuminate the classroom not only saves electricity but also facilitates the preparation of lessons for teachers and the learning of students. But what are the requirements for LED lights in classrooms? Let me introduce myself to you below.

1. Classroom LED lights must meet the illuminance requirements: Illuminance is a physical quantity that expresses the brightness of an object, and the unit is lux (lx). The measurement of illuminance generally adopts the measurement method of luminous flux, that is, it is determined by measuring the ratio of the light output intensity of the light source to the luminous flux of a specified reference point.

2. Power selection of LED lamps for classrooms: The rated power of LED lamps used in schools is generally about 30w-50w; while in some special cases, high-power LED lamps such as LED street lights, LED stadium lights and LED high mas lights to need to reach more than 100 watts.

3. Selection of the color temperature of LED lights for classrooms: The color temperature refers to the Kelvin temperature value corresponding to the color of the light emitted by the lighting source and the color radiated by the black body at a certain temperature, which is called the color temperature value of the LED light source (defined by CIE1931).

4. The service life of the classroom is selected: under normal circumstances, the service life is more than 5,000 hours. If it exceeds this range, it is necessary to consider replacing new equipment or repairing and maintaining old equipment.

5. Selection and precautions for the installation location of classroom LED lamps:

(1) The installation height should be more than 50cm below the student's line of sight

(2) It should be installed in a well-lit place indoors

(3) It should not be installed near windows or doors

(4) Avoid direct sunlight

(5) Avoid getting close to heat sources

(6) Pay attention to waterproof and moisture-proof

(7) Avoid vibration

(8) Try to stay away from other electrical appliances

(9) Select the appropriate bracket to fix

(10) Avoid damaging the surface coating during installation
