Selection of outdoor lighting source
Outdoor LED light projects may produce different lighting effects due to their different appearances. There are roughly several feelings: more uniform, stronger light and dark changes, more flat, more lively, these manifestations are based on the properties of the building itself To decide.
1. Choose a suitable light source
The LED light sources that meets the building body should be considered before selecting: led light color, led color rendering, led efficiency, life and other factors. There is a matching relationship between the light color and the color of the exterior wall materials of the building. Normally, bricks and yellowish-brown stone are more suitable to be illuminated with warm light LED lamps. White or light-colored marble can be irradiated with cold white light with a higher color temperature. Building contour lighting can use LED digital tubes, led flexible light strips, RGBW LED Wall Washer Light, etc. to outline dynamic effects of different colors and forms.
2. Determine the brightness of the light source
The required brightness mainly depends on the brightness of the surrounding environment and the color depth of the exterior wall materials of the building. The brightness value is mainly for the main facade (main viewing direction). Usually, the brightness of the secondary façade is half of the main façade, and the three-dimensional effect of outdoor project lighting can be expressed by the difference in brightness of the two sides.
3. Determine the lighting form of the building
According to the type characteristics of the building and the current situation of the construction site, determine the appropriate lighting form to achieve the desired lighting effect.
4. Choose the right lighting
Generally, the light distribution angle of the square type LED floodlight is larger, and the angle of the round type LED lamp is smaller. Wide-angle LED lamps have a more uniform effect, but are not suitable for long-distance projection. Narrow-angle LED source lamps are suitable for long-distance projection, but have poor uniformity when used at close distances. In addition to the light distribution characteristics of the lamp LED selection, the appearance, material, dustproof, and waterproof grade (IP grade) are also factors that must be considered.
5. Calculation of brightness and number of LED lighting lamps
Determine the number of lighting lamps according to the brightness calculation of the selected light LED source, lamp LED, installation location and other conditions, so that the effect after installation can be as close as possible to the expected.
6. On-site commissioning after installation
Adjustments on the construction site are necessary. The projection direction of each lamp LED is designed in the scene renderings as a reference only, and the brightness value calculated by the computer is only a reference value (what the human eye sees is the reflected brightness of the wall, not the brightness). Therefore, the adjustment of the site after the installation is completed, in fact, should be based on the human visual sensitivity.
