Outdoor Street Lights are mainly used for road lighting such as main roads, secondary roads, branch roads, factories, schools, gardens, urban squares, courtyards, etc. The increase of output power and luminous flux also needs to be further improved from the basic level of high-power white LED epitaxial technology and chip technology. In terms of secondary optical design, the radiation forms of LEDs are Lambertian, side-fired, bat-wing and concentrating. In the field of street and road lighting, based on design experience, Lambertian and bat wing are more suitable. Through secondary optical design, the illumination range and luminosity curve of LED can meet the needs of road lighting.

The general form of LED used in road lamps is mainly in the lamps. A matrix LED is installed on an almost flat installation surface (also a reflective surface). This design method is impossible to obtain a good lamp configuration. Light.

LED outdoor lamps and street lamps are used outdoors, so they must be waterproof and dust-proof, so the lamps must be sealed. After sealing, the temperature of water vapor in the lamps exceeds 100 degrees under extreme weather conditions. LEDs work continuously in such a high temperature environment. If the heat dissipation of the LED street light luminary is not done well, the lamp will be very easy to be broken or the light decay will be serious. The heat dissipation problem of domestic high-power LED road street flood light has not been completely solved, and the follow-up maintenance cost of the product will inevitably increase.

Inspection procedure:

LED Luminaires for roadway power module must not only be designed in accordance with the above requirements, but also must go through strict inspection procedures:

1. The control device with constant voltage output function or constant current output function or both functions shall be tested according to GB19510.12/IEC61347-2-13 safety standard.

2. For the control device that only has the function of controlling the logic change of LED brightness, flashing, color, etc., the GB19510.12/IEC61347-2-11 safety standard inspection should be adopted.

3. If a control device has both of the above-mentioned functions, it should be tested in accordance with the GB19510.12/IEC61347-2-13 safety standard. Practice has proved that through scientific design and strict inspection, it can not only ensure that the LED street lamp system is not damaged by lightning, but also reduce the common mode and differential mode interference of lightning to the power supply equipment.
