CE certification for lighting products
CE certification is a passport for products to enter the European Union and European Free Trade Zone countries. Any country's products must be CE certified to enter the European Union and the European Free Trade Area, and the CE mark should be affixed to the product. CE certification means that the product has reached the safety requirements of the EU directives. Products with the CE mark will reduce the risk of sales in the European market.
The LED lamps and lanterns CE inspection project has the following five aspects:
1.EMC-EN55015
2.EMC-EN61547
3.LVD-EN60598
4. If it is an LVD with a rectifier, it is generally EN61347
5.EN61000-3-2/-3 (test harmonics)
CE is composed of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) + LVD (Low Voltage Directive). EMC also includes EMI (interference) + EMS (anti-interference). LVD is generally SAFETY safe. Generally, low-voltage LED lighting products have AC less than 50V and DC less than 75V, and LVD projects can be omitted. Low-voltage LED lights only need to test EMC and issue a CE-EMC certificate, while high-voltage LED lamps need to test EMC and LVD, and issue two certificates and reports CE-EMC CE-LVD.
EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)--EMC test standard (EN55015, EN61547), the test items include the following aspects:
1.radiation
2.conduction
3.ESD static electricity
4.CS conduction anti-interference
5.RS radiation anti-interference
6. EFT pulse.
LVD (Low Voltage Directive)—LVD test standard (EN60598), the test items include the following aspects:
1. Failure (test)
2. Impact
3. Vibration
4. Impact
5. Electrical clearance
6. Creepage distance
7. Electric shock
8. Fever
9. Overload
10. Temperature rise test.
CE is a mark representing that the LED bulbs has complied with the European safety/health/environmental protection/sanitation standards and directives. All LED luminaires sold on the EU market must be subject to CE certification.
The following are the standards for different types of LED fixtures
EMC standards for LED bulbs:
EN 55015 EN 61547 EN61000-3-3 EN61000-3-2
LED bulb LVD standard:
The latest standard of IEC/EN60968: IEC/EN62560 (IEC62560 is required to apply for CB certification) IEC/EN61347-1 IEC/EN61347-2-13 IEC/EN62031 IEC/EN62471 IEC/EN62493
LED lamps (ceiling lights, downlights, spotlights, street lights, floodlights, etc.) EMC standards:
EN 55015 EN 61547 EN61000-3-3 EN61000-3-2
LED lamps LVD standard:
IEC/EN60598-1
IEC/EN60598-2-x (depending on the lamp, the specific standards are different) IEC/EN61347-1 (LED drive power) IEC/EN61347-2-13
IEC/EN62031 (LED module) IEC/EN62471 (photobiological safety) IEC/EN62493 (EMF standard)
LED tube EMC standards:
