How to choose the "eye-protection" table lamp?
Students are about to start. How to choose the most suitable LED lamp for children in the face of the dazzling array of table lamps on the market? Which color of LED light is most suitable for children? How to choose a lamp LED for night reading? On August 16, the Provincial Consumer Protection Committee issued the No. 6 consumer reminder for 2021 to help parents.
The Provincial Consumer Protection Committee recommends that when choosing a LED table lamp, parents should focus on the five aspects of illumination, anti-glare, color temperature and color rendering index, blue light hazards, and flashing lights. Illuminance refers to the luminous flux per unit area. Generally speaking, it is whether it is bright enough to illuminate the object. At present, the illuminance level of the reading and writing desk lamp is divided into A level and AA level. Among them, the AA level is more demanding than the A level. It is recommended that parents give priority to choosing a table LED lamp with AA-level illuminance, or check and buy led product under the eye-protection table LED light standard GB/T9473-2017 "Performance requirements for reading and writing table lamps".
According to China’s current standards, for long-term work or staying in a room or place, the color rendering index of the lighting source should be more than 80. If the LED light source is selected, the color temperature should not be higher than 4000K. Therefore, when choosing LED lamps with adjustable color temperature, you should pay attention to whether there is a warning word of “It is recommended to adjust the color temperature below 4000K at night”. If the color temperature is not adjustable and the nominal correlated color temperature is higher than 4000K, then this LED fixture does Suitable for night use. It is recommended that when children use desk lamps LED, turn on other LED lighting lamps in the room at the same time to create a comfortable lighting environment and avoid lighting with strong contrast between light and dark.
Many parents are worried about the harm of blue light, so that the color of "blue" changes, but in fact, it is not the existence of blue light, there is blue light harm. According to reports, according to related tests, if the lights LED are rated as RG2 or even better, they will cause damage to human eyes in a short time. And because the reading and writing work LED lights are used within a distance from the human eye, and the general use time is relatively long, so my country stipulates that the blue light hazard level of the reading and writing work lights should be RG0, that is, non-hazardous, so Parents should pay attention to this point when choosing lamps. In addition, there are many lamps and LED luminaires on the market that claim "no flicker" and "more eye protection", but in fact, every light LED source has signs of flicker, and "flicker-free" lamps are not completely frequency-free, just within safe range.
