Since the beginning of this year, the Sangong Village Committee of Sandao Town, Baoting has combined with the activities of “checking blocking points, solving problems, and promoting development”, keeping an eye on the people’s worries, and promptly solve the problem of damaged street lights in the village, and improve the people’s sense of gains and happiness.
In 2018, the Qianjin Village Group of Sangong Village Committee of Sandao Town used the funds for one issue one discussion to install LED street lights on the main roads and ring roads of the village to facilitate the night travel of the villagers. However, due to the increase in service life, the street LED lights are aging and damaged. At the beginning of this year, village officials found three street LED lamps damaged in the village during the investigation and reported them to the higher authorities.

The Sangong Village Committee has 15 natural villages under its jurisdiction. In addition to the Qianjin Village Group, other villages also have the problem of aging and damage of street luminaries. Since the beginning of this year, the Sangong Village Committee of Sandao Town has combined the activities of “checking blocking points, solving problems, and promoting development” to keep an eye on the people’s worries, and organize party members and cadres to go to villages to investigate the damage of street fixtures. Investigation revealed that a total of 102 street lamps were damaged to varying degrees.
Through multi-party coordination, the Sangong Village Committee finally funded the repair of damaged street lighting bulbs by the organization department of the county party committee at the link point to help villagers solve the problem of night travel, consolidate the village lighting project, and enhance the sense of happiness of the people.
