Love street lights illuminate the way to school

For a long time, the main road of Pingshan Primary School in Manruan Village has no street lamps, and it is dark in the evening. It is extremely inconvenient for students and villagers to travel. There are unsafe factors. The installation of street LED lights to illuminate the children’s way to school has become a big wish for the majority of villagers.

In response to this problem, the Manruan village team learned from history and did practical work. After a series of visits and studies by the "two committees" of the same village, the team actively asked for instructions and reports to the dispatched unit China Telecom Dehong Branch, raised funds, and decided to install 30pcs LED street lights on the intersections near the Pingshan Primary School in Ruancun, Jianpo Team, Hongguang Team, Dangeshan Village Road and Duty Card. After three days of intensive installation, the commissioning and use were successfully completed, and the darkness of the road into the school was gone at night.

“In the past, there were no street LED lighting luminaries on this section of the road. Children had to use flashlights to go to school in the morning. It was very inconvenient and unsafe. Now that street LED fixtures illuminate the children’s way to school, it also brings us parents a sense of security." A parent of a student in Manruan Village said happily.

Yang Ruibin, the first secretary and leader of the work team of Manruan Village, said: “Although the LED road lights installed this time are small and few, they have excellent effects, which greatly facilitates the students to go to school in the morning and the villagers to travel at night. The next step is Manruan Village.
