LED Street lamps are already the choice for outdoor lighting, and they have become an indispensable part of the public infrastructure. However, not all streetlights are the same. The different geographical and climate environments in various regions and the government's different environmental protection concepts affect the choice of street LED lights. On the whole, the current street LED lamps are mainly divided into two categories, namely, city circuit lights and outdoor lighting LED streetlights. So what is the difference between the two?
Outdoor lighting street lamps are widely used and popular. The installation methods of the two are different. In the traditional city circuit lamp device, cables must be laid first, and the cable trench must be excavated and a lot of foundation works must be carried out here, and then the device must be debugged. The solar street light installation is much more concise, and there is no need to lay cables and so on when installing the solar street light. Just make a cement base and fix it with stainless steel screws.
The traditional street lamp circuit is messy, the safety is not high, the lamp is not ambitious. The safety of the two is different. The power source of traditional city circuit lights is 220V AC, while solar street lights use low-voltage DC. The safety accidents of city circuit lights that often occur during the hot and rainy seasons prove that traditional city circuit lights are far less safe than solar road lights. In terms of safety, solar road LED lights are obviously more dominant.
The protection costs of the two are different. The traditional city circuit lights use city power and lay cables to protect and replace the lines and other equipment for a long time, and the protection cost remains high. The solar street light is a complete shut down operation process. The sun shines on the solar panel, and the solar panel absorbs the sun light and converts it into electrical energy through the shining of the sun. Supply power to the LED light source to complete the lighting function.
The DC controller prevents the battery pack from being damaged due to overcharging or over-discharging, and has functions such as light control, time control, temperature compensation, lightning protection, and reverse polarity protection. The operation process of outdoor lighting lamps and solar street lighting lamps is a complete system and can complete self-protection. Therefore, the protection of solar street lighting fixtures is much simpler and more convenient than traditional street lights.
