UL VS ETL Certifications:

The north Amerikan series led lights from crowndaled.com are created not just to light the space but also to be ensuring lighting safety. We have both UL and ETL-listed led lights. Not all lights have both UL and ETL, since any of them means this led light has been tested and approved for safety by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

What is ETL?

An ETL certification is issued by Intertek’s Electrical Testing Labs. A product with ETL certification means that this product has been tested to meet safety standards. Intertek is a testing laboratory that is recognized by OSHA. Its goal is to create safe living and working environments. They offer inspection, testing, assurance, and certification services to ensure all products meet quality, health, environmental, safety, and social accountability standards. It has more than 1,000 laboratories in over 100 countries.

Many LED lighting product suppliers whose aimed markets are north American markets applied ETL marks for their LED lights, it’s usually easier and quicker to get than a UL certification.

Both UL and ETL prove the safety of a product. When you buy electrical products, make sure they have any of these certification marks. Since they will not cause safety issues for your home or business locations.
